How to Order
New England SteamWorks offers replacement steam radiators through our Original Used Radiator Program. Each radiator is selected, restored, and refinished for your specific project — arriving fully restored, looking brand new, and installed ready for service.

Start by submitting a Work Order form — we'll price out your project and send you a link to browse our current inventory. Select the radiator that fits your space, and we'll restore, finish, deliver, and install it for you.
Submit a Work Order
Use our Contact Us / Schedule Service form to see your total project price. Select Option 3 — radiator refinishing or replacement — then follow the prompts.
Browse & Select
If the price works for you, submit the form and follow the link to our inventory. Select your radiator — it's attached to your work order automatically.
We Handle the Rest
A 50% deposit invoice follows. Once received, we restore and prepare your radiator — then handle delivery, installation, testing, old radiator removal, and new valve and vent.
What's Included
We supply pressure-tested original used cast iron radiators and handle the replacement from start to finish. Every replacement includes:
- Delivery and installation
- Testing after installation
- Removal of your old radiator
- New radiator valve and vent
We do not offer these radiators for pickup or third-party installation.
The Restoration Process
All old paint — including lead paint — is removed by sandblasting. The radiator is then refinished in your chosen color with three coats of two-part epoxy paint. What arrives in your home is a fully restored replacement radiator, looking brand new and installed ready for service.
Important Scope Note
This program is intended for in-kind replacement using the same steam supply pipe, in the same location, and on the same floor.
If a radiator needs to be relocated, added where one did not previously exist, or moved to a different floor, additional charges will apply. Complete this workflow first, then let us know what is needed and we will quote that separately. If that separate quote is not acceptable, you may cancel at that stage.
New Cast Iron Radiators
We also offer new cast iron radiators — an excellent option when an exact size or configuration is needed, when a radiator must fit a specific space, or when a two-pipe steam system requires more exact pipe spacing.
New cast iron also opens up additional finish options beyond standard painted colors, including Bare Metal, hand-finished, polished, and lacquered finishes.
Warranty
Used radiators are pressure tested before installation and leak tested again after installation. They are guaranteed to be heating properly and leak-free at the time of installation.
New cast iron radiators are covered by a 25-year Ironshield Warranty.
