Making steam heating systems beautiful, balanced, quiet and (most of all) efficient, is what we do at New England SteamWorks. Rest assured, when your steam system was first installed, it was balanced, quiet, and efficient. But, along came World War II, new technology (oil), and the attrition of the old steam and coal men. Alterations and technician ignorance are often the culprits if your steam system is misbehaving. Steam heat is radiant heat at its best – wonderfully comfortable, efficiencies comparable to hot water systems when installed correctly, and just a fraction of the maintenance issues.
